Made to measure in our Victorian and Steampunk studio, this striking outfit is tailored to fit you perfectly, creating a refined silhouette inspired by Victorian daywear.
Crafted from classic pinstripe suiting fabric, the ensemble features a fitted bolero jacket that adds structure and style. Beneath it, a long-sleeve black satin chemise. The black 'Lilly' underbust corset cinches the waist beautifully, giving that iconic Victorian shape while remaining comfortable and supportive. Choose from Black velvet or Black Brocade for your corset.
The skirt set is a showpiece on its own, comprised of three parts - a steel-boned hoop skirt for fullness and movement, the wonderfully dramatic pinstripe overskirt with its gathers and folds and a pleated underskirt that completes the Victorian layered effect.
There are two versions of the skirt set - the classic 'Governess and the Alicia - Both skirt styles include a hoop skirt, overskirt and underskirt.
The classic Governess Skirt - The original version of this style featuring wonderfully draped and dramatic folds and pleats, with a firm waistband and zipper on the overskirt. The Underskirt is black satin with a pleated frill of pinstripe suiting.
The Alicia skirt - Ruched and gathered with length adjustability in the overskirt, a firm waistband and zipper. The black satin underskirt features a gathered pinstripe frill with additional braid trimming.
